Subcontracting… and why we don’t do it
Unlike many of our competitors, we choose not to use subcontractors. We feel that this puts us one step ahead, and here’s why…
We’re always in control
It’s extremely important for us as a business to know what is going on at all times where our clients are concerned. When using subcontractors, you can never be 100% in control of the team. Our Interduct team members comply with our own health and safety rules and work with our ethos and company values in mind.
We’re never too far away
One of the reasons companies may use subcontractors is that, unlike Interduct, there aren’t many firms which have full UK and Ireland coverage. No matter where our sites are, we can be sure that our team are always within an hour or so of every job that we do. With 33 engineer crews currently on the road, you know that we’re never too far away.
Our work ethic is second to none
We believe that through using our own employees, we operate a tight knit team. The infrastructure of our business means that our Field Managers are responsible for their own team of engineers and ensure that everything runs smoothly on site. Everyone is working in the same way, towards the same goals and we’re all part of the same team.
Less risk of error
Even though our work is always carried out to the highest standards, if something isn’t quite right, we are able to send our team over immediately to fix it. The risk with using subcontractors is that it can be difficult at times trying to get them back to the same job in a quick turnaround time, as they may have made other commitments elsewhere.
It’s always a big positive for any client to know who they’re dealing with. We’re proud to say that when you take Interduct on board, you’re dealing with Interduct directly, with no other companies involved.
